Lyophilization is initiated after the trays, on which the material is placed, are driven onto shelves that are in a stainless-steel cabinet in a cylindrical main body or are in the room and after the cabinet cover is tightly closed.
There is a vacuum pump outside the cabinet. The condenser may be inside or outside. Some lyophilizators have separa-te caps on both ends for loading and unloading. One side of them is opened to unloading section and one side is opened to the loading section.
The loading of the trays is carried out by means of transport vehicles. Channel trays are used to prevent bottles from getting loose. The stoppers of these bottles are not completely closed to allow the water vapor to escape. At the end of the process, the mechanism inside the device is turned off.
